Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your safari adventure begins with a meet and greet from the Sky extra team and an early morning departure from Nairobi towards Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes and rural Kenya, offering glimpses of local life along the way. Arrive at Amboseli in time for lunch at your accommodation, where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, known for its large herds of elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak. Dinner and overnight stay in Amboseli.

Day 2 Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to maximize your wildlife sightings, with opportunities to photograph iconic African animals such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Amboseli is also famous for its birdlife. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. It is also famous for its large herds of elephants, diverse wildlife including lions and cheetahs, and opportunities to experience Maasai culture amidst its picturesque savannah and marshland landscapes.

Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and head towards Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley.  Pass by Rift valley viewpoint and later hells gate National park for a nature walk to the caves. Arrive in time for lunch at your accommodation. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and numerous bird species. Optional activities include a nature walk on Crescent Island, home to giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Day 4Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its flamingos and rhinos. Enjoy a game drive upon arrival, exploring the lakeshore and woodland areas where you might encounter leopards, buffaloes, and Rothschild’s giraffes. Lunch at your accommodation followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 5Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, known for its abundant wildlife and stunning landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch at your accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara, where you may spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and possibly witness a river crossing during the Great Migration (seasonal).

Dinner and overnight stay in Maasai Mara.

Day 6Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Enjoy one last morning game drive in Maasai Mara, followed by breakfast at the accommodation. Depart for Nairobi, stopping for lunch and Maasai village visit en route. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for optional activities in Nairobi such as visiting the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum (Extra cost). Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience in Kenya with us.
