3-Day Naivasha, Nakuru & Maasai Mara Mid Range Safari

Your 3-day mid-range safari begins with a warm welcome from the Sky Extra Tours team in Nairobi. You will receive a detailed safari briefing outlining your itinerary and safety tips before setting off towards the picturesque Great Rift Valley.

Your first adventure awaits at Hell’s Gate National Park, famous for its dramatic cliffs, volcanic formations, and geothermal activity. If time allows, you’ll enjoy a guided walk or bike ride, spotting zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife in the open landscapes.
After exploring Hell’s Gate, you will enjoy a relaxing lunch en route, with a stopover at the Rift Valley.
In the afternoon, continue to the tranquil waters of Lake Naivasha. Here, you will take a boat ride across the lake, watching for hippos and vibrant birdlife, including kingfishers and fish eagles. A short visit to Crescent Island offers an opportunity to walk among animals.

As the day winds down, you will drive to Lake Nakuru, check in, relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Today, you will wake up early for a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, the best time to see animals in action as they are most active during the cooler hours. After the drive, you’ll return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast before heading out again for more wildlife viewing through the park’s diverse landscapes. You will enjoy sightings of flamingos, rhinos, buffalo, and other wildlife. After a rewarding afternoon game drive and lunch, you will begin your journey to the famous Masai Mara. The scenic drive includes an en route game drive as you approach the park. You will arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, and settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you will wake up early to begin your final morning game drive in the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. This is the best time to catch predators on the hunt and wildlife at its most active. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and a chance to relax. You will then head out for one last game drive to soak in the beauty of the Mara’s vast savannahs, known for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—and the incredible Great Wildebeest Migration. In the afternoon, you will check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight home or at your hotel, ending your unforgettable safari experience.
